One of the main issues that higher education is currently facing is the rising cost of tuition. The burden of student loans has made made education less accessible since many students choose to not take out any student loans. Another issue that higher education is facing is the method of teaching. As technology improves the methods should improve/adapt with newer technologies but unfortunately that doesn’t seem to be the case for the most part. The third issue would be the lack of promoting diversity. Students from low-income backgrounds, and students with disabilities, continue to face barriers in accessing and succeeding in higher education.

(no more than 300 words) / Si pudiera influir para lograr algún cambio en su institución, ¿cuál sería? y ¿cuál es el aspecto único de su institución que le gustaría mantener? (máximo de 300 palabras)
If I could make a change at the university that change would be to create a interdisciplinary collaboration. By creating these environments it will helps more students be engaging but also but able to facilitate the use of technology for students. It would also prepare students for the many careers and research areas in the real world.
