The Hispanic Educational Technology Services (HETS) Consortium is pleased to announce the publication of the Spring Issue of its peer-reviewed Online Journal (HOJ). This Journal, created in the year 2010, provides high-quality research articles covering online teaching, learning, and training topics for the academic community around the world.
“We are pleased to publish eight (8) new articles, seven (7) in English and one (1) in Spanish, and consistently continue providing this peer-reviewed publication focusing on showcasing innovative research, scientific papers, and best practices on topics related to online education with a globalized perspective,” said Eng. Gladys Nieves, Chair of the HETS Board of Directors and President of EDP University.

In this issue, the Journal showcases articles in English and Spanish, discussing topics such as: Impact of co-curricular activities during coding bootcamps in two undergraduate introductory programming courses; Ethical Integration of Generative AI in Higher Education; From Labs to Laptops: Understanding Online Science Learners; Empowering Students for a Cyber‑Safe Future, among others.
HETS invites you to enjoy the articles in this issue and to share the Journal with colleagues, academics, students, and administrators involved in higher education. Likewise, HETS encourages all those interested in publishing their articles to take advantage of this opportunity to share their knowledge. The deadline to submit articles for our next Fall Issue Volume XVII is September 28, 2026.

¡HETS anuncia la nueva edición de su Online Journal!
El Consorcio Hispanic Educational Technology Services (HETS) se complace en anunciar la publicación de la nueva edición de su revista arbitrada en línea, el HETS Online Journal (HOJ). Esta Revista, creada en el año 2010, proporciona artículos de investigación de alta calidad que cubren temas de enseñanza, aprendizaje y formación en línea para la comunidad académica de todo el mundo.
“Nos complace publicar ocho (8) nuevos artículos, siete (7) en inglés y uno (1) en español, y seguir ofreciendo de forma constante esta publicación arbitrada por pares centrada en mostrar investigaciones innovadoras, artículos científicos y mejores prácticas sobre temas relacionados a la educación en línea con una perspectiva globalizada”, comentó la Ing. Gladys Nieves, Presidenta de la Junta de Directores de HETS y Presidenta de EDP University.
