Scholarships at HETS Member Institutions
A scholarship is an award of financial aid for a student to further education. Scholarships are awarded on various criteria usually reflecting the values and purposes of the donor or founder of the award. The following list is a sample of different types of awards that are available at HETS member institutions. Further details can be found visiting the Financial Aids sections of the desired institution.
American University of Puerto Rico: Durante el mes de febrero de cada año, la Oficina de Asistencia Económica de AUPR comienza el proceso de orientación sobre los documentos requeridos para radicar la Solicitud Gratuita de Ayuda Federal y otras ayudas disponibles a los Estudiantes para el próximo año académico.
Atenas College: La misión de la oficina consiste en proveer la mejor orientación y ayudar a todos los candidatos y a los estudiantes, de manera que aprendan y conozcan los procedimientos para solicitar las ayudas económicas así como los requisitos que deben cumplir para beneficiarse de las mismas y hacer el mejor uso del privilegio de ser un estudiante becario.
Borough of Manhattan Community College – New York: Academic scholarships can supplement the funding or be an alternate source of funding for your education. There are a number of scholarships available to students currently enrolled at BMCC who have attained a high degree of academic excellence.
Bronx Community College: There are a number of scholarships available to students currently enrolled at Bronx Community College. Please view the scholarship index, search engines, and list of providers.
California State University, San Bernardino:There are many different types of aid available within each of the main categories of grants, loans, and scholarships. It’s worth it to review each type to find which one might suit you and your circumstances. Not all aid types will apply to everyone, but nearly everyone can find aid that works for them.
Carlos Albizu University: If you are applying or enrolled as a degree-seeking student at Albizu University, the Office of Financial Aid can provide you with information on financial assistance, including how to apply for scholarships, work opportunities, grants, and loan programs available to qualified students. Financial aid is designed to help students meet the direct and indirect costs of their education, such as tuition, fees, books, and supplies.

Hostos Community College: The Office of Financial Aid provides a myriad of student aid related services, ranging from assistance with financial aid forms to job referrals. It serves an average of well over 6,000 students annually, awarding Hostos students well over $28,000,000 per year. (details on scholarships can be found here.)
Inter American University of Puerto Rico: Financial aid based on students academic program are listed. You might need to visit each campus to determine specific scholarship programs available.
National University College: ofrece asistencia económica a estudiantes que son elegibles para los programas actualmente administrados por la Institución. La ayuda ofrecida a cada estudiante está sujeta a la disponibilidad de los fondos para el año específico de cada beca al igual que a la necesidad económica que presente cada estudiante.

Queensborough Community College – New York: Our goal is to provide students with one location to find accurate and up to date information regarding scholarships, both scholarships awarded by CUNY and Queensborough Community College, and scholarships awarded by external organizations (corporations, etc.) At the top of this page there are four tabs, one for QCC Scholarships, one for CUNY Scholarships, one for External Scholarships, and one for Scholarship Searches.

University of Texas Rio Grande Valley: Most students at UTRGV receive some form of financial aid to help offset the cost of their education. This usually consists of some combination of scholarships, grants, loans, possible work-study and other institutional aid programs.
