
Iliana Ballester Panelli is a professor at the Ferré Rangel School of Communication at the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón. She has a BA in Advertising from Universidad del Sagrado Corazón and an MA in Advertising from Michigan State University. She is currently completing her doctoral studies in Education at the Universidad Iberoamericana. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in the Strategic Communication, Creative Advertising, Public Relations and Digital Marketing programs. Her research interests include distance education, active learning and the use of information, communication and learning technologies (TICA). Professor Ballester-Panelli has academic and professional publications and presentations on using educational technology and online education to enhance the teaching and learning experience. She is the founder of Top Brains Group, a consulting firm in the areas of marketing, communication, research, and finance. In addition, she is the director of Elemento 360, a communication firm run by students of the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón.
