Mi name is Sarah Calderon Lagos.
Medical student with a strong interest in clinical research, neurodegenerative diseases, and health in rural and underserved settings. She has participated in two regional poster presentations, gaining experience in scientific communication and critical appraisal of biomedical literature. Her academic work focuses on integrating biological mechanisms with social determinants of health, with particular emphasis on genetics, neuroscience, and the biosocial impact of rare diseases. She is committed to promoting a comprehensive and human-centered approach to patient care.

My name is Andrey Korol Franco. I am a medical student at the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Villavicencio campus.
I have always been deeply interested in research. In fact, last year I co-authored my first scientific publication together with an internal medicine physician. This work addressed the risks associated with the consumption of energy drinks among young people and was published in the journal Acta Médica.
Beyond my academic interests, I am passionate about sports, particularly soccer and strength training at the gym, which play an important role in maintaining both my physical and mental well-being.
