Paula DaSilva-Michelin holds a Master’s Degree in TESOL from The City University of New York (CUNY) and is presently pursuing her Doctorate in Education in Leadership and Innovation at New York University. Throughout her career, Ms. DaSilva-Michelin has worked with students of all levels and age groups, from kindergarten to adults. Her teaching expertise encompasses contextualized and integrated English for Specific Purposes classes and curriculum development. She currently holds the position of Director at The Center for Immigrant Education and Training at LaGuardia Community College. In this role, she oversees programs that offer free ESOL classes and workforce training programs to support low-income immigrants in New York City.
