Madeline Shellgren, Ph.D. has spent her professional career intentionally working across sectors and spaces, focusing on meaningful ways learning-focused communities can come together in partnership with one another for impactful change. She utilizes this deep history as Director of Outreach and Development for the Online Learning Consortium (OLC). While at the OLC, she has become known for her leadership around engagement, strategic planning, innovative pedagogies, and global partnerships across online learning.
She earned her Ph.D., which focused on online educator professional development, from Michigan State University. She also holds an M.A. in Linguistics from the University of Toronto and a B.A. in both Spanish and Linguistics from the University of Vermont.
