Student Mobility
To provide students with services and experiences in addition to those offered by ICPR Junior College that represent an added value for them, the following services have been specified so that the student continues to achieve new goals and acquire various opportunities, allowing the institution to promote their transformation. Among these we can mention: 1. Collaborative Agreements that have led to having companies or offices to facilitate the student’s placement in the internships required in their academic programs. 2. Job fairs coordinated with employers who visit the institution and carry out recruitment and selection processes of candidates for present and future employment opportunities. 3. Collaborative Agreements with recognized university institutions in the academic area of health and criminal investigation. These agreements allow the student to continue studying at new academic levels and that their already approved credits can be partially or totally validated in these other institutions to carry out new academic programs in less time. 4. Free psychological support services with external professionals in the field at the time the student needs it. The institution coordinates them. Placement services at Internship Centers and liaison with employers for employment opportunities are offered in the Placement and Practice office at all locations of the institution. Psychological services are coordinated with the professional Counselor in each locations. Collaborative agreements with other post-secondary institutions for the validation of credits that continue studying in other programs can be processed, in the same way, with the Placements and Practice Office in each location and with the academic coordinators or the Dean of Academic Affairs in the central office of the Institution.
Interested in creating experiences for visiting students to attend your institution for a summer or short-term course: At ICPR Junior College we are committed to ensuring that the prospect has a great experience when initiating contact with the institution. It is very important that all prospects know our academic offer and that in this way they can better know and interact with what our programs offer as well as know about our available equipment, laboratories and facilities. The institution offers demonstration classes and scheduled workshops on topics related to the programs we offer. These are promoted on social networks and are offered in all locations. They are short-lived, ranging from one day to a few weeks. Also, ICPR Junior College also has a Division of Continuing Education with offers of a variety of workshops, review for revalidations for the required exams of the Examination Boards, among many others. Work-Study Program (FWSP) This program provides study-related work and community services to students who demonstrate financial need. The student works, after school hours, a certain number of hours. Through this work experience we try to develop the positive attitudes of a university student and an efficient employee. Funds are limited, so apply as soon as possible. Eligible students may be assigned to work within the Institution earning the current minimum wage. Likewise, students are assigned outside the Town to provide service to the community. Student Support Services
ICPR Junior College offers students a variety of services to provide support and make it easier for them to achieve their career goals. These include: Transportation Services, Mental Health Services, Safety, Academic Support Services, among others The campus directors, the faculty, as well as the Counselor and staff of each location who led the service offices are coordinated and provide follow-up so that these services and the needs of the student are attended as required.
