Project: Daily Guide
Description of the project: The Daily Guide prototype was developed as a digital tool to support people with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers in their daily lives. Based on a literary review (2020–2025) and with the support of artificial intelligence, key needs were identified and structured using the OOUX methodology into three main areas: appointments, care, and location. Using this framework, a navigation flow was designed, and a functional prototype was built in Adalo, including features such as reminders, task organization, and spatial orientation. Although initial testing was conducted only with classmates, a user validation phase is proposed to verify its usefulness. When creating the prototype I learned the importance of simplicity and easy access is in the design to avoid confusion from the user. Overall, Daily Guide aims to be a simple and intuitive application that promotes the autonomy of people with Alzheimer’s and reduces the emotional burden on their caregivers in the early stages of Alzheimer’s.
