Present Responsibilities
As part of the functions that I exercise for the dean of distance education is the evaluation of course syllabi based on virtuality, its components and Institutional guidelines. In addition to collaborating and supporting the creation of the Alignment Maps of the online courses for the School of Nursing, among other functions related to the improvement of the distance education division of the nursing school.

1. From your perspective, what are the top three issues facing higher education today? Why?
In my perspective the three top issues for the facing higher education are:
1. Interactivity of online courses.
2. Application of tools that measure academic integrity
3. Little knowledge of the faculty of the proper management of online courses.
I understand that many teachers do not know the tools and their proper implementation to ensure academic integrity. So it is necessary to continue promoting the preparation of a specialized faculty in distance education. In addition to creating more interactive courses that are attractive to students of this generation.
2. What are your own institution’s priorities and challenges with regard to leveraging instructional technology and distance education for the benefit of the entire organization?
Our new goals is to review one hundred percent of the courses of the Nursing school of the distance education division. In addition to promoting the development of new courses aligned with the EDPU academic model
3. If have the influence to instill change at your Institution, was one thing you could change, what would that be; and what is the unique aspect of your institution you would like to keep?
My institution focuses on quality, not quantity. That is something I like. We started with a small distance education deanship, but which continues to grow exponentially and has become a core part of my institution. I would like to contribute with the development of new courses promoting the growth of both the dean of distance education and the nursing school.
