Bridging the Gap – Linking LPN experience to RN practice via Innovative Virtual Learning
General description of the project
Fletcher Technical Community College embraced innovative virtual theory and clinical to meet the needs of Licensed Practice Nurses (LPNs) seeking educational advancement (RN) while continuing to serve in the workforce during a national pandemic. Virtual platform allowed working LPNs to continue studies while tuition remained cost effective. This program currently serves over 50% minorities in an institution that overall has 46% minority students.

The Evaluation Committee will evaluate submitted proposals based on the following criteria. Each area will be rated on a scale from 1 to 7 (1= non-satisfactory; 7 =outstanding), for a maximum of 63 points.
