The use of artificial intelligence in processes related to the development of courses and academic content has proven to be an effective strategy for streamlining processes, obtaining diverse alternatives, and providing specific solutions for the challenges associated with course design and alignment. This approach not only optimizes the creation of engaging activities and learning elements but also highlights the collaborative relationship between instructional designers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and advanced AI technologies. We would explore how this team contributes to overcoming challenges, reducing time frames, and ultimately enhancing the quality of educational offerings.
Technologies
The implementation of various artificial intelligence strategies and tools was used to expedite the design of online courses while optimizing the creation of activities and learning elements. Primarily, these were employed as supportive resources for generating elements that required greater depth to achieve an optimized outcome. Despite using tools for content generation, it is crucial to highlight the importance of a subject matter expert and/or academic director to rigorously validate and add relevant information to said content.
