Visiting a Forensic Institute: What a field trip for chiropractic students

General description of the project

Being an Anatomical Clinical and Forensic Pathologist with access to an active Forensic Autopsy room, it occured to me to provide a field trip to my students as part of their basic pathology training on their 2nd academic year.
To my surprise the experience has been extremely important in rounding their anatomic amd pathology knowledge experiemcing hands on management of fresh cadavers.

Technologies

Fresh cadaver autopsy experience

Explain project results

Their anatomy and pathology knkwledge has beimg enhanced by watching autopsies on fresh cadavers

Why it should be considered best practice?

By just exposing the students to fresh cadavers instead of formalin fixed cadavers enhances their appreciation of real life real time anatomy and pathologic basis of diseases

Highlights of your proposed presentation

Their experience has been year after year one of amazement and wonder. Rher come back to school with their professional point of view completely changed
