Dr. Mike Godard is the Provost at Southeast Missouri State University. Godard leads the overall administration and promotion of academic excellence in the faculty and academic programs. Godard provides leadership in planning and implementing innovative instructional programs, building collegial consensus around a compelling vision for the future, and guiding development of creative initiatives within academic affairs. Prior to Southeast, Godard served as interim provost, vice provost for enrollment management, and chaired the Department of Nutrition & Kinesiology at the University of Central Missouri. Godard also served at Western Illinois University, the University of Kansas, and the University of Southern Maine.
