Dr. José Quidgley holds a Ph.D. in Medical Physiology from the University of Puerto Rico, School of Medicine. His research, acknowledged with various awards, focuses on cardiovascular physiology, particularly the impact of statins on diabetic rats. Noteworthy publications include studies on the effects of statins on vascular function. Quidgley has presented research at conferences and received accolades for academic excellence. His professional experience spans teaching pharmacology, biochemistry, and cell biology at medical schools and general biology at the undergraduate level. His extensive academic career includes curriculum development and contributions to capstone experiences. He is curently the director and teacher of the Pharmacology course
