Diana Macri RDH, BSDH, MS.Ed. is an Associate Professor in the Dental Hygiene Unit, Allied Health Department at Eugenio Maria de Hostos Community College. She is an accomplished writer and researcher, having published several discipline-specific and pedagogical manuscripts in peer reviewed journals. As an active member of Hostos’ Center for Teaching and Learning, first as an Advisory Council member and now as Faculty Liaison, she takes great interest in effective teaching methodology practices including growth mindset practices, and has created a Writing Intensive Course and Open Educational Resource. She is also the Chair of the Peer Improvement Network for Teaching, a committee tasked with improving peer observation practices at Hostos.
