Dr. De-Laine Cyrenne is an Emeritus Faculty member of California State University, Sacramento. While at CSUS, Dr. Cyrenne was a faculty member in the Department of Psychology. After receiving her M.A. in Psychology in 2007, she obtained her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of St Andrews in Scotland. Her research area of interest is Behavioral Neuroscience, with an emphasis on the biological basis of age and sex differences in risk taking and sensation seeking behavior. Over the years, Dr. Cyrenne introduced many Psychology students to the use and joy of statistics in behavioral science! Dr. Cyrenne was also quite active in shared governance and the Center for Teaching & Learning (CTL) as a Faculty Associate and Mentor. Dr. Cyrenne continues to work with CTL to examine the impact of professional development on student success.
