Arturo has a wide variety of experience in higher education including faculty and staff development, curriculum development, instructional design, instructional technology, and online instruction. He is equity-focused and is an advocate for professional growth and life-long learning. Arturo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix, Las Colinas Campus. Recently, he earned his Doctor of Education degree from Southern Methodist University where his dissertation study explored institutional and intrinsic factors that impact faculty participation in OER development.
