Description of the project: “Telehealth and the Veterans Round Table” explores the significant impact of technology on the mental health and well-being of student veterans in higher education. It highlights how telehealth services, such as virtual counseling, peer support groups, and online mental health resources, provide accessible, flexible, and timely care to veterans facing unique challenges. These technological tools help bridge the gap between veterans and mental health professionals, reducing barriers to care like stigma, geographical limitations, and scheduling conflicts. The discussion emphasizes that integrating telehealth into university support systems within our Veterans Round Table model, is crucial for creating a supportive, inclusive environment that fosters the overall well-being and academic success of student veterans.
