My name is Andrey Korol, and I am a medical student at Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia. I am deeply committed to academic excellence, international collaboration, and the advancement of medical education. My academic and professional goal is to become a physician who not only provides high‑quality patient care but also contributes to research and global academic exchange.
I am an active member of the student medical association ACEMED UCC, where I serve as the Local Officer for Exchanges. In this role, I coordinate international clinical exchanges, facilitating opportunities for medical students from different countries to complete rotations at our university. At the same time, I support students from my institution in accessing training experiences at universities around the world. This position has strengthened my leadership, organizational, and intercultural communication skills.
In addition to my academic activities, I am involved in research and am a co‑author of an article published in Acta Médica Colombiana. I continuously participate in research projects with the goal of contributing to scientific knowledge and improving healthcare.
Outside of academics, I enjoy playing soccer and going to the gym. I am also a member of my university’s soccer team, which has taught me discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. I aspire to represent my institution and collaborate with international partners to promote educational opportunities and innovation in healthcare.
