Kimberly Rosas, Student Ambassador, California State University, San Bernardino

Kimberly Rosas is a senior at California State University, San Bernardino who is currently working toward her bachelor’s degree in history to teach and create positive change in the community of San Bernardino. This past year, she has served as the Vice President of Associated Students Inc., the student government on her campus, and works toward bridging the gap between faculty, staff, administration and students for a better higher education experience for all. In Associated Students Inc., she has also learned to organize events for student engagement and advocates for student resources on campus.

She is also in her second year serving as a California College Corps Fellow where she volunteers her time in K-12 institutions as a tutor, volunteering to clean her community, or helping with food insecurity. Kimberly serves as the 2026 Vice President of the Yotie Film Club on campus where she and the club participate in film festivals and film projects. They have recently won best sound design in their most recent short film “Takeout”. Kimberly sits on several boards and committees at her campus, including the SMSU Board of Directors, the Facilities and Sustainability subcommittee, and she is vice-chair for the Associated Students Inc. Board of Directors. Kimberly is fluent in English and Spanish and is also intermediate in French. One of her goals outside of school is to bring together Spanish-speaking communities to create a more understanding, peaceful unity through language, art and education.
