Presenters

Jairon J. Carrasco Cortés
Junior student in Computer Engineering at the Inter American University of Puerto Rico, Bayamón Campus. He has excelled as a student leader inside and outside the academic environment, actively participating in the official robotics team “Inter Robotics”, where he serves as a programmer and member of the logistics and communications subsystems. He has developed key skills in his training, including proficiency in the C++ programming language and professional proposal writing. In addition, he participated in the NASA L’Space Academy: NPWEE (NASA Proposal Writing and Evaluation Experience), strengthening his expertise in technical proposals.


Isamar De los Santos Ortiz
Sophomore in Mechanical Engineering at the Inter American University of Puerto Rico, Bayamón Campus. Her passion for the robotics field displays into 10 years participating in the VEX Robotics Competition and creating her own robotics academy called Tecno Aventura. She’s currently coaching five high school VEX teams through working directly with the Caribbean Robotics Academy, and holds the position as Lead Mechanic in Inter Robotics.


Yamira Franco-Munroe
Junior student in Computer Engineering at the Inter American University of Puerto Rico, Bayamón Campus. With a great love for programming and the robotics field, Yamira currently holds the position as Lead Programmer in Inter Robotics. Her experience in C++, Java, Python and SQL, leads her to continue growing as an engineer through the implementation of another of her passions, medicine. Both come together as one of her aspirations to become a Biomedical Engineer to save lives in the near future.
