Roberto Rivera
A Senior Instructional Designer at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) where he assists faculty to design and develop online and hybrid courses that meet quality assurance and accessibility standards. He has been involved with Quality Matters since 2015 facilitating the APPQMR workshop face-to-face and in the online environment.


Dr. Claudia Vela
Is an instructional designer at the Center for Online Learning and Teaching Technology at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) with a background in linguistics and higher education administration. She was a faculty member at Tec de Monterrey for 16 years where she taught blended and hybrid courses. She now facilitates instructional technology integration into face-to-face and online courses and has been involved with Quality Matters since 2018 as face-to-face and online facilitator and peer reviewer.
