Dr. Azucena Herrera
Is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Management at The College of Business and Entrepreneurship, University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV). She is an Ad-Hoc Reviewer for The Institute for Business and Finance Research. She has been a member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Management and Marketing Research (IJMMR). She earned a master’s and Ph.D. in Business Management. Dr. Herrera was awarded the 2025 UTRGV Excellence in Teaching Award, the 2024 Faculty Excellence Award at the RCV College of Business and Entrepreneurship, and the 2023 Excellence in Online Teaching Award at UTRGV. She is a faculty member of the Management Department who collaborates with the Office of Bilingual Integration and contributes to the B3 Seal Program by designing and teaching graduate and undergraduate management courses in Spanish and bilingual formats, expanding beyond traditional English instruction.
