Campus visits to promote the HETS Virtual Plaza Services available free of charge to member institution’s community

Foto-UNETo reinforce internal relations and increase member’s involvement, the HETS Executive Director has visited various campuses to promote HETS free of charge services. These visits had the purpose to communicate HETS commitment to better serve its member institutions, and explore new collaborative liaisons.

More than 350 community members (including Presidents, Chancellors, Deans, Directors and faculty members) have been informed of HETS services and benefits during the campus visits in February, 2013. So far, with a combination of face to face and video conferences we have completed: three sessions at Universidad del Este (AGMUS), two sessions at the Inter American University of Puerto Rico, two sessions at EDP University (Hato Rey and San Sebastián campuses), two sessions at Carlos Albizu University (San Juan and in Florida campus through video conference), one video conference to Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga in Colombia, and one session at: ICPR Junior College, Universidad Metropolitana (AGMUS), and Universidad Central del Caribe.  Future sessions have been scheduled during March to Huertas Junior College, Caribbean University and Universidad del Turabo (AGMUS). Also, a trip to visit member institutions in the States of Washington, Massachusetts, and Chicago, has been scheduled for April, 2013. We invite member’s institutions that haven’t scheduled its presentation yet to do so, and take advantage of all our services available to your institution communities. You can call 787-766-2600 exts. 8910, 8911 or send an email to: info@hets.org to schedule your campus orientation today.
