Abstract

The purpose of the paper is to identify trends in the evaluation of online courses. For this purpose, a literature review was conducted and then the studies were classified by the purpose of the evaluation. In addition, the evaluation models and approaches used were identified. It is concluded that in the evaluation of online courses, there is a clear tendency to evaluate the effectiveness and quality of online courses, as well as the use of questionnaires. The evaluation of an online course should be systematic, not limited to the study of student achievement and satisfaction.
