Dr. Michael Hutmaker

Michael Hutmaker is currently the Dean for Student Affairs at Borough of Manhattan Community College championing the holistic collegiate experience both inside and outside the classroom. For 25 years, he has distinguished himself as a student advocate and energetic, creative, and visionary administrator establishing programs that enhance the college experience for students. Prior to BMCC, he was Dean for Student Affairs at Polytechnic University and Associate Dean of Student Life and Director of Residence Life at St. John’s University. He has his BA from Rutgers University, MEd from Clemson University and EdD from St. John’s University.
