Celebrated in January 16 and 17,<\/strong> 2014 the HETS Best Practices Showcase highlighted and celebrated the outstanding work of its member institutions focused on three main tracks<\/strong>:<\/strong> retention,<\/strong> assessment<\/strong> of student learning<\/strong> by standards and by competencies, and Distance Learning<\/strong>, in Higher Education with mission-driven emphasis on Hispanics students.<\/p>\n

The 2014 Best Practices Showcase<\/a> was officially opened with a panel discussion at the Theater of the Universidad del Sagrado Coraz\u00f3n, <\/i>host institution of the event. \u00a0This panel of experts was moderated by HETS Chairman and President of IAUPR, Manuel Fern\u00f3s, Esq. and it was composed by the following panel of experts:<\/p>\n
