Follow HETS as hestorg on <strong>Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, <\/strong>and <strong>Instagram <\/strong>for the <strong>latest news<\/strong> regarding the<strong> events held<\/strong> and <strong>additional offerings<\/strong> for the remaining <strong>Spring semester<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Events held<\/strong> or <strong>services<\/strong> already in place<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>More than 20 recordings<\/strong> of presentations of the 2021 <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/virtual-hets-best-practices-showcase-2021-registration\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Virtual Best Practices Showcase<\/span><\/a>&nbsp;focusing on distance learning, which is crucial and valuable in our new academic reality. All the recordings will be&nbsp;<strong>available<\/strong>&nbsp;until&nbsp;<strong>June 14, 2021.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Two recordings<\/strong> of the Virtual <a href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/webinars-for-students\/\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Student Leadership Showcases<\/span><\/a> Tour in <strong>Spanish and English<\/strong> for PR, Latin America, and the US, offered to <strong>more than 500 students<\/strong> in <strong>February and March<\/strong> 2021 to reinforce student leadership skills and promote HETS services and tools free of charge for them.<\/li><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/virtualplaza\/student-placita\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Tutorials in Spanish and English<\/span><\/a>&nbsp;for <strong>students<\/strong> on how to use the <strong>resources and tools<\/strong> at the&nbsp;<span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/virtualplaza\/student-placita\/\" target=\"_blank\">HETS Student Placita<\/a><\/span>.<\/li><li>Access to more than<strong> 25<\/strong> recordings of <strong>webinars<\/strong> for<strong> faculty <\/strong>and<strong> administrators<\/strong> in<span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">&nbsp;<\/span><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/webinars-in-english\/\" target=\"_blank\">English<\/a>&nbsp;and<span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">&nbsp;<\/span><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/webinars-en-espanol\/\" target=\"_blank\">Spanish<\/a>.<\/li><li>More than <strong>100 peer-reviewed articles<\/strong> published in the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/ejournal\/issues\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">HETS Online Journa<\/span>l<\/a>, sharing best practices regarding the use of <strong>technology for teaching and learning<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Additional offerings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Free<a href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/webinars-for-students\/\"> <span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">webinars<\/span><\/a> for students to <strong>present expert resources<\/strong> to talk about topics like leadership, entrepreneurship, job search, among others.<\/li><li><strong>Starting<\/strong> on <strong>March 19, 2021, m<\/strong>ore than 10<a href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/webinars-en-espanol\/\"> <span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">webinars in Spanish<\/span><\/a> and <span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"><a href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/webinars-in-english\/\">webinars in English<\/a> <\/span>will be offered by <strong>International experts<\/strong> regarding Distance Learning and related topics to support faculty and administrators on this new modality.<\/li><li>A new <strong>HETS Online Journal<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/ejournal\/\">Spring Issue, Volume XI<\/a><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"> <\/span>will be published and the <strong>deadline to submit articles<\/strong> is <strong>March 25<\/strong>, 2021.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The itinerary of the events scheduled for this semester can be download in a <u><a href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/HETS-Events-Jan-June-2021-Rev-Final-as-March-2021.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">PDF format here<\/span><\/a><\/u>.
