He is responsible for the educational endeavors of more than 20,000 students served by 500+ faculty.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Morales is an instructional technology scholar, a visionary and dynamic leader with experience at undergraduate, graduate, public, and private institutions of higher education and an educator, presenter, and author. His experience spans more than 20 years as a faculty member of Biology and Science Education in the classroom and online. He has held progressive administrative roles as Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at Ana G. Mendez University System-Virtual Campus; Executive Director of Academic Technologies at Lock Haven University and Instructional Designer at New Jersey City University.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Carlos is the author of internationally peer-reviewed academic articles, book chapters and has conducted more than 90 refereed conference presentations. Throughout his career, Dr. Morales has used technology to improve teaching and learning. He is enthusiastic about incorporating technology advancements that engage students in the learning process, and that helps faculty to enhance teaching methods. He has accomplished this through the development of instructional technology training sessions, designing and implementing technology-enriched classrooms, and the development of fully online college degrees. He is a sought-out expert and leader in higher education innovation, experienced creating converged learning environments (online, hybrid, and web-assisted) and as well as adult and accelerated learning opportunities. Dr. Morales serves on several boards at the regional and national levels in the United States and is actively engaged as a peer reviewer on editorial boards for academic journals in the United States, Puerto Rico, Latin America, and the European Union.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Morales graduated from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico, with bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s degrees in Biology and Science Education, and received his doctorate from Capella University in Instructional Design for Online Learning. Es responsable de los esfuerzos educativos de m\u00e1s de 20,000 estudiantes apoyado por m\u00e1s de 500 profesores.<br><br>El Dr. Morales es un experto en tecnolog\u00ed\u00ada de instruccional, un l\u00ed\u00adder visionario y din\u00e1mico con experiencia en instituciones de pregrado, posgrado, p\u00fablicas y privadas de educaci\u00f3n superior; al igual que educador, presentador y autor. Su experiencia de m\u00e1s de 20 a\u00f1os como profesor de Biolog\u00ed\u00ada, Educaci\u00f3n y Ense\u00f1anza de las Ciencias en ambientes presenciales y en l\u00ed\u00adnea. Ha desempe\u00f1ado funciones administrativas como Vicerrector de Asuntos Acad\u00e9micos en el Sistema Universitario Ana G. M\u00e9ndez-Campus Virtual; Director Ejecutivo de Tecnolog\u00ed\u00ada Acad\u00e9micas en Lock Haven University y Dise\u00f1ador Instruccional en New Jersey City University.<br><br>Carlos es autor de art\u00ed\u00adculos acad\u00e9micos revisados por pares, cap\u00edtulos de libros y ha realizado m\u00e1s de 90 presentaciones en conferencias arbitradas. A lo largo de su carrera, el Dr. Morales ha utilizado la tecnolog\u00ed\u00ada para mejorar la ense\u00f1anza y el aprendizaje.<br><br>Un defensor de la tecnolog\u00ed\u00ada instruccional y como mejora el desempe\u00f1o de los estudiantes en el proceso de aprendizaje y que ayudan a los profesores a mejorar los m\u00e9todos de ense\u00f1anza. Lo ha logrado a trav\u00e9s del desarrollo de sesiones de capacitaci\u00f3n en tecnolog\u00ed\u00ada educativa, el dise\u00f1o e implementaci\u00f3n de salones y aulas enriquecidas con tecnolog\u00ed\u00ada y el desarrollo de programas acad\u00e9micos completamente en l\u00ed\u00adnea. Es un reconocido experto y l\u00ed\u00adder en innovaci\u00f3n en educaci\u00f3n superior, con experiencia en la creaci\u00f3n de entornos de aprendizaje convergentes (en l\u00ed\u00adnea, h\u00ed\u00adbridos y asistidos por la web) y oportunidades de aprendizaje acelerado y para adultos.
