This requires training and skills that allow in these environments to achieve equal results or the same objectives that are achieved in face-to-face courses. As a pioneer organization in the use of technology in higher education with enormous expertise and services ready to be used by our academic communities, HETS announces its offering for the Fall semester that includes the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Free<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff\" href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/hets-events\/student-leadership-corner\/\"> webinars<\/a><\/span> with HETS Student Ambassadors to promote services free of charge at the Student Placita in the HETS Virtual Plaza, and expert resources in topics like leadership, entrepreneurship, job search, among others.<\/li>\n<li>Virtual <span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff\" href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/hets-events\/student-leadership-corner\/\">Student Leadership Showcases<\/a><\/span> in Spanish and English for PR, Latin America, and the US, to reinforce student leadership skills and promote HETS services and tools free of charge for them.<\/li>\n<li>More than 10<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff\" href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/webinars-en-espanol\/\"> webinars in Spanish<\/a><\/span> and <span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff\" href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/webinars-in-english\/\">webinars in English<\/a><\/span> regarding Distance Learning and related topics to support faculty and administrators on this new modality.<\/li>\n<li>A <span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff\" href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/ejournal\/\">Fall Issue, Volume XI<\/a><\/span> of the HETS Online Journal to share articles that offer insights and suggestions that are pertinent to our current environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Besides these offerings during this semester, HETS services include\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff\" href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/virtualplaza\/student-placita\/\">tutorials in Spanish and English<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>on how to use technology and access to the\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff\" href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/virtualplaza\/student-placita\/\">HETS Student Placita<\/a><\/span>. Also, access to recordings of pasts free <span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff\" href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/virtual-events\/\">virtual events<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>and webinars, in\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff\" href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/webinars-in-english\/\">English<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff\" href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/webinars-en-espanol\/\">Spanish<\/a><\/span>,\u00a0focusing on distance learning, which is crucial and valuable in our new academic reality.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/hets.org\/virtualplaza\/\">Likewise,<\/a>\u00a0access to more than 100 peer-reviewed articles at the\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff\" href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/ejournal\/\">HETS Online Journal<\/a><\/span>, sharing best practices regarding the use of <strong>technology for teaching and learning. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>We invite you to click on the links<\/strong> to <strong>benefit from these services<\/strong> and <strong>help us promote it<\/strong> among your <strong>colleagues, students, and anyone<\/strong> you estimate pertinent.
