Fern\u00f3s, Esq., <strong>since March 16 <\/strong>we have been <strong>working remote<\/strong> to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and <strong>support the academic community<\/strong> in this <strong>new scenario<\/strong>. Consequently, <strong>HETS staff <\/strong>were totally<strong> committed<\/strong> to continue <strong>offering our services <\/strong>that includes the following (<strong>click on the links<\/strong> to learn more):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A total of <strong>23 <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/hets-launches-a-new-series-of-bilingual-tutorials-to-promote-the-student-services-available-at-the-student-placita-of-the-virtual-plaza\/\"><strong>tutorials in Spanish and English<\/strong><\/a> were recorded with HETS Ambassadors students and published to promote services free of charge at the Student Placita in the HETS Virtual Plaza.<\/li>\n<li>Two <a href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/hets-anuncia-fecha-del-student-leadership-tour-1-de-mayo-de-2020\/\"><strong>Student Leadership Showcase Tour Online<\/strong><\/a> were held on May 1 and 8, 2020 trough Zoom to <strong>more than 500 students<\/strong> to reinforce their leadership skills and promote HETS services and tools totally free of charge for them.<\/li>\n<li>A total of <a href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/webinars-y-eventos-virtuales-de-apoyo-a-la-facultad-sobre-temas-relacionados-a-la-educacion-a-distancia\/\"><strong>10 webinars in Spanish<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/webinars-on-distance-learning-february-18-27-2020\/\"><strong>4 webinars in English<\/strong><\/a> regarding Distance Learning were offered to <strong>more than 4,000 participants <\/strong>to support faculty and administrators on this new modality.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/hets.org\/ejournal\/\"><strong>Spring Issue, Volume X<\/strong><\/a> of the HETS Online Journal was published with <strong>nine (9) articles<\/strong> that offer insights and suggestions that are pertinent to our current environment.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinated interviews with our Corporate Partners like:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/0dCI0pv1-nc\">Inter Staff, Inc.,<\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=TWXaTnfKLzs\">Blackboard<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=KdheVeYBIi4\">COBIMET<\/a><\/strong> to <strong>strengthen our collaboration<\/strong> and promote their benefits and services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Again, we <strong>invite you to click on the links<\/strong> to <strong>benefit from these services<\/strong> and <strong>help us promote it<\/strong> among your <strong>colleagues, students and anyone<\/strong> you estimate pertinent.
