My name is Héctor Suero Álamo and I work at Albizu University, San Juan campus as an Educational Technology Specialist and Blackboard Administrator. I have more than 15 years of experience working with different audiovisual technologies and equipment, which involve the field of education. I have a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (ITS) and a master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology Integration with E-Learning from the Ana G. Mendez University System (UAGM). I also have a certification from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez campus, as a Virtual Educator Trainer.
I have worked on different projects that involve the integration of technologies in education, both in the classroom and online courses. I have also participated in audiovisual content development projects for online courses. Finally, I have collaborated in training projects for university instructors, offering workshops on topics such as online course design, Blackboard Learn, Moodle, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, and other teaching and assessment tools. My specialization and interests are directed to educational technologies, distance education, and everything related to information and communication technologies (ICT).
