The first partnership between an American and a Russian university to make accredited distance learning degree programs available to students in Russia. Initially, the program will offer the Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Quality Assurance and Bachelor of Science in Quality Assurance.

Moscow State Academy of Instrumental Engineering and Computer Science was established on August 29, 1936 as the All-Russian Machine-Building Institute. It was renamed the Moscow State Academy of Instrumental Engineering and Computer Science (MGAPI) on January 7, 1994. MGAPI has seven major departments: Computer Sciences, Economics and Business, Science of Law, Fundamental Physics and Mathematics, Sociology, Philosophy and History. The major departments of MGAPI offer more than 50 specializations.
